To Invade Now or To Invade Later? "When" is the Question. UWC
Importado Issue 3. April 18, 2008.

“Power is the only thing that matters in this world. Things like mutual respect and mercy are just delusions for the weak. Today the United States is very hostile towards many countries, but people around the world still respect it because it is a superpower.”
f40racer- You Tube

(I thought of starting of with a quote to look smart, so I did. However you might find the source not possessing enough authority. This is to demonstrate to you the great difference between your (and f40racer’s) authority and the United States authority, as in that you are insignificant in the shadow of significant complex entities such as the US)
Living in this shadow for some time, being quite insignificant, you probably have realized that your actions are based on a form of a logical system=REASON. For example when you are hungry, you try to acquire some food to satisfy your want (or need) for food. In order to do just that you might decide to go to Musmani to buy a doughnut, or in the case that you don’t have any money you might decide to go to the cafeteria for fruits. However, you could also decide to take someone else’s doughnut from the fridge, and consume it with out having to pay for it, nor having to walk all the way to the cafeteria. This seems to be the most rational choice. So why doesn’t everyone just take each others food?
Well, of course there must be many reasons for that, because my food in Cahuita has not been stolen for a long time. So I came up with the major REASONS to why people would not steal each others food:

Number one, don’t need it. If you don’t need food, you will not steal it.
Number two, fear of school punishments. If you steal, you might get kicked out and hated by the student body.
Number three, fear of God/Allah/Budha. If you steal you got to hell/back to earth as a dog (reincarnation)/ or just bad karma, so on.
Number four, fear of little voice in the head that steeling is wrong. If you have a strong inner voice which enforces respect for private property and other moral rules of society on you, you might not steal. If you don’t want to be confronted by this inner voice you better behave well.
The same rules apply to the world in general as well (Generalization = Truth = ?). People who don’t have what other people have, will not take it from them because of their beliefs/fears/”not wantingness”. This of course oversimplifies the situation, however it helps me to make my point: Fear is a major tool with which we are able to keep society together at its current state. Fear of authority (God/Inner Moral Voice/Government) equals to fear of punishment, (Hell/No sleep/Prison) upon which we base our laws, our families, educational systems, governments and economies on. FEAR is thus the heart of our society. It is the heart of darkness.
To understand how fear is the heart of our society I will please you with a couple of short examples:
1) The fear of ones life: Students fearing that the consequences of their academic carrier might disable them from becoming rich, will study hard/work hard and shut up about great injustice and therefore fuel our NEW WORLD ORDER’s economy.
2) Executives in large cooperation’s fear that they will lose their name/carriers/savings if they failed to deliver good results for the stock holders. Hence cooperation’s will have the incentive to function in the most efficient way, and thus to put goods and services in front of you and me, that will satisfy our wants and needs. The ambitious executives for their own selfish sake will increase world out put, increase the availability of goods and services to consume.
3)The fear of going to jail/pay fines: Obviously there is a human tendency to get addicted to habits which are not good- ‘driving above speed limits, drinking and driving, heroin and rape’ are some of these habits. If people with a tendency to do any of these nasty habits would have no fear that they would go to jail and/or have to pay a fines if they did committed these actions, than they would do it. Note everyone, but just enough so I would not let my children, or myself go outside of my house. My freedom would be limited by their freedom to potentially risk my life and safety.
4) During the economical miracle of Indonesia, millions climbed out of poverty, due to rapid industrialization, technological advancements, the beautiful sweatshops- all of which were the results of Friendly Foreign Direct Investment (expl: Nike liked the cheap labor, and the availability of resources hence moved production to Indonesia) Due to this sudden flux of wealth and urbanization, the gap between the rich and the poor widened at an extreme pace. While the super rich had swimming pools, servants, more food than they could ever eat, most of the city population lived on unhealthy plastic food and had no access to a healthcare and education what so ever. So why didn’t the poor go out and destroy the rich? Take their belongings?
Well, thanks to the mighty Indonesian Military, (which controls the country up until today) those who tried to take rich peoples stuff got beaten, killed and abused. However the police shared one trait with the poor: They despised the Chinese minority. Hence, when the economy collapsed due to the Asain economical crisis, the people knew that they were free to rob, kill, steel from anyone as long as they were Chinese, for the police/military did not stand behind the Chinese. This clearly demonstrates how important it is to have the military/police backing you, if you have valuables. And we do.
Now imagine the world as a big Indonesia. There are islands; smaller ones and bigger ones, there are forests and animals, and a lot a lot of poor people. Now in order to keep these extremely complex systems of human society going such as “private property” humans must impose some sort of self regulations.
