Spam, Spam , Spam...you might see this word ten times a day on your mail box, but where does this word come from???
According to the dictionnary, a spam is: nm SPiced hAM (...)
So how come we call those little ennoying e-mails by the same name than a Britsh meat in Box???
Because of....Monty Python. The Monty Python Flying circus , to be more precise and their sketch called "Spam". During this (extra surrealistic) sketch, the Monty Pythons are in an old british Cafeteria and ask the old lady what they can have...moreover they are surrounded by a bounge of vikings ...ah and a Hongarian Tourist visit them.. It doesn't make any sense to you, so go and check it out!!!! ----> he

For the references used by the Flying Circus, they wanted to point out how it was during WWII when they were only SPAM to eat because of the difficulty to get proper food.
